University Recognition of the International Baccalaureate

Whether you are a certificate candidate or a full IB diploma candidate, the IB program is a significant investment of time, academic effort, and money. And with more and more universities granting credit to IB students, this is definitely an investment that promises worthwhile returns.

The Official IB Website (www.ibo.org) is full of information about the
International Baccalaureate and university recognition.

On the University Recognition page you can look up:
* which universities offer credit for the IB

* how much credit you can receive

* the minimum scores needed to earn credit

"Looking back on my experience with Eugene IHS I now realize how important it was in shaping my comprehensive understanding of the world around me. I credit the [school] with teaching me to love learning and my subsequent success in college and graduate school. I felt that I started college ahead of my freshman peers in terms of my writing abilities and time management skills. Plus, it made me really good at Jeopardy.
--Alison (Stark) Leiman, Class of 2000

"Nothing prepares you better for success
than Eugene IHS!"
--Sarah (Withrow) King, Class of 1996
